  • Country Side Excursion - approx. half-day tour, which covers a bit of everything. Start with a visit to Sg. Palas Tea Plantation, Rose Garden, Cactus Valley, Strawberry Farm, Honeybee Farm and visit to the Market Square.
  • Rain Forest Adventure - begin with adventure journey in a 4WD, driving along the farming villages and tea estate before reaching a rugged terrain that takes you into the jungle towards an Orang Asli Settlement. Try out your skill with the traditional Orang Asli weapon – Blowpipe, trek in the jungle and search for wild animal treks. And don't forget your swimming costumes if you fancy a dip in the river.
  • Trekking - for serious enthusiast. During the trek, chance to see many kinds of carnivorous pitcher plants, wild fern such as Elephant ferns, Bird nest fern and moss.
  • Gateway to Nature - At 2,000m above sea level, walk along the slopes of Gunung Brinchang and admire the tea gardens. The view from the observatory tower itself is worth the visit. On your way down you trek along the Mossy Forest and stop at the tea factory for a cup of “Ummp tea”.

  • Mahkota Parade (Jalan Merdeka) - largest shopping complex in Malacca
  • Melaka Raya Plaza (Melaka Raya) - newest shopping complex (since Dec 2000)
  • Jaya Jusco (Jalan Ayer Keroh) - a pleasant shopping experience for the family
  • Kota Mas (Jalan Ayer Keroh, opposite Jaya Jusco) - another major shopping complex but without the buzz
  • Tesco Hypermart (Jalan Panglima Awang, off Jalan Tun Razak) - a brand new Hypermart that has wet & dry market under one roof. Largest selection of merchandise from local and abroad. Shop, eat, drink & play.. in one place.
  • Hang Tuah Mall - 1.5 km walkway for visitors to take a leisurely walk along Jalan Hang Tuah. The sidewalk begins from Dewan Hang Tuah and stretches the whole of Jalan Hang Tuah and is based on Bintang Walk in KL
  • Jonker Walk - flea market stretches the whole of Jalan Hang Jebat (Jonker Street), selling curios, antiques, local delicacies, souvenirs and many interesting items.

  • Malacca Pier - next to Century Mahkota hotel, this double-storey and quarter-mile bridge extending out to the sea off Malacca. A light rail transport system running on the top level will ferry visitors to and fro the whole length of the bridge. There are special fishing deck along the bridge, a floating seafood restaurant, amusement park, souvenir & craft shops, boating facilities and many more.
  • Zoo Malacca - RM5 (9am - 6pm), red pandas? (from a 2002 newsletter)

- Melaka Tourist Information Centre located at Jalan Kota, at the mini round-about near the Stadthuys museum. One can collect many tourist brochures & maps there.
